Toolstop Takes First Delivery Of Quick Dam Products

Uddingston-based Toolstop has taken its first deliver of innovative new flood and leak protection products from Quick Dam.

The new range of flood and leak protection products are specially designed to reduce the damage caused to property by water during storms, flash floods and cold weather.

The innovative Quick Dam products are manufactured with a patented polymer which, when in contact with water, becomes an absorbent gel which swells to control and contain leaks, overflows and floods.

Light and easy to store, Quick Dam comes in a variety of formats for indoor and outdoor use. The absorbent flood barriers quickly swell to a height of 3.5” when in contact with water, taking around 10 minutes to reach their full size and absorbing up to 4.5 gallons of water each.
