Lovell Homes Set To 'Shine New Light' On Former Factory Site

Leading property developer Lovell Homes is providing potential buyers with the opportunity to view a stunning new show home in its energy efficient Hamilton development as it launches sales at Glow Garren.

The Glow Garren site is set to host 163 homes, 40 of which are affordable. Priced from £255,000 to £375,000, the first of these three-, four-, and five-bedroom homes, are now ready for occupation.

The name, Glow Garren, pays testament to the heritage of the site which boasted the former Signify (formerly Philips) lighting factory, serving the town for over 70 years before its closure in 2019.

Interested parties are encouraged to visit the high-quality show home, the five-bedroom Jedburgh, to see for themselves what a Lovell home can offer them and their family.

Viewings will be available throughout the weekend of Friday 28 to Sunday 30 April and customers are warmly welcomed to get in touch to arrange a viewing.

Lovell is also offering incentives to buyers to help them get started, receiving a personal inspirations package, which helps new buyers customise their homes to their taste; or delivered through the helping hands scheme, through which Lovell covers the cost of selling their existing home. A financial advisor will be available during the viewing to help buyers make their decision.

However, this offer ends on Sunday 30th April, so interested parties are encouraged to act quickly to avoid missing out.

Compared to older homes, the average Lovell homes boasts energy efficient insulation, use 30 percent less water, come fitted with efficient appliances, and uses up to 80 percent less electricity for lighting due to only using energy-saving bulbs.

Glow Garren is the result of Lovell working in partnership with Signify, JLL Real Estate, as well as the technical teams at EMA Architects and Dougal Baillie Associates. South Lanarkshire Council have also been key partners in making this ambitious development a reality.

Lovell Homes is grateful to all its partners who have played a vital role in the process and looks forward to welcoming potential buyers to the Glow Garren development.

John McGill, Lovell Partnerships Ltd Development Director said: "We are very much looking forward to the launch of the fantastic new show home, allowing us to showcase our offering at Glow Garren and welcoming prospective buyers to the site.

"The fabulous properties, both inside and out, are beautifully stylish with a modern look and design.

"With convenient access to Glasgow and the amenities of the local area, this new development will be perfect for families and those seeking a welcoming community."
