A.C. Whyte has announced the expansion of its services with the appointment of a new in-house Gas, Plumbing and Heating Manager.
The appointment of Rae Kirkpatrick will allow A.C. Whyte to provide a unique service in line with their projects, in all types of gas services such as carrying out essential plumbing alterations on External Wall Insulation works, installing major gas appliances such as boilers and completing gas safety checks ensuring all paperwork meets industry standards and issuing certificates.
Rae joined the team in early February this year and has played an integral role in supporting the firm's growth strategy as they further expand their business offering. He currently leads a team of nine individuals, with plans for further recruitment.
A statement from A.C. Whyte read: "At A.C. Whyte, we champion the importance of skills, training and development throughout the business. We strongly believe in identifying where our teams' strengths lie as individuals and giving them the space to thrive. We ensure that our team are equipped with the relevant support, tools and training to reach both their personal and professional goals.
"A recent example of this is our newly qualified Gas Engineer, Neil Wishart who joined our team as a Trainee Gas Engineer in May this year. Neil has over 14 years military experience and applied for the position direct via A.C. Whyte, we supported Neil by giving him exposure to real, on-site experience whilst going through his ACS qualification."
Rae Kirkpatrick, commented: "Neil has felt like a valued member of the team since day one, he has shown a can-do attitude and his work ethic has been exemplary, it's been a pleasure working alongside him these past few months. He's worked incredibly hard and we are very proud of his achievement – well done Neil!"
