South Ayrshire Council has launched a new lettings agency to ensure everyone can access better housing.

The 'Your Choice' social lettings agency is different from the others and is focused to help those on low incomes or people who have experienced homelessness.


The council would like to hear from private landlords that want to help make a difference.

Councillor Philip Saxton, Housing and Community Wellbeing Portfolio Holder for South Ayrshire Council said: "This is an exciting new housing initiative which will bring about lasting change.

"First and foremost, we want to meet the needs of our tenants and ensure landlords are supported.

"We're determined to set the standard for quality, value for money and professionally managed property and give everyone a home they can be proud of."
