Ogilvie To Build New Home For The Great Tapestry Of Scotland

Ogilvie Construction has been appointed as the main contractor to build an extension that will house the Great Tapestry of Scotland visitor attraction.

The main part of the scheme is the construction of the home for the tapestry. This is a two-story steel braced frame, which is roughly a square-shaped building measuring 40m x 40m.

Construction of the roof and external walls is due to follow in the coming months.

The project will be led by internationally experienced director, entrepreneur and expert marketer Sandy Maxwell-Forbes, as Centre Director for The Great Tapestry of Scotland.
