Environmental Charity Seek Participants For Focus Groups

Environmental charity Keep Scotland Beautiful is seeking participants for two focus groups as part of the Scottish Government's Big Climate Conversation.

They are calling for people from in and around Oban and Inverurie that don't normally think or talk that much about climate change to take part in focus groups.

Participants will have the chance to share their valuable opinions and in return for two hours of their time, everyone that takes part in the group will be rewarded with £25 at the end of the event.

The focus groups are part of The Big Climate Conversation - identifying what changes people in Scotland are willing to make, and what they want the Government to do to tackle the global climate emergency and end Scotland's contribution to climate change completely within a generation.

Alastair Seaman, Climate Change Manager from Keep Scotland Beautiful, said: "It is really important that everyone is part of the conversation about climate change. We are keen to hear from residents that don't normally consider, think or talk that much about climate change.

"You don't need to bring any experience or any knowledge to the table. We just want to talk to you and have a discussion about your priorities and hear your views."

The events will take place at:

The Corran Halls, 54 Corran Esplanade, Oban, PA34 5AB and The Acorn Centre, West Parish Church, West High Street, Inverurie AB51 3SA.
