ARC-Tech (Scotland) has delivered a specialist Mechanical and Electrical installation for a newly-launched luxury care home in West Dunbartonshire.
Delivered in partnership with main contractor CCG on behalf of Morrison Community Care Group, the state-of-the-art Kingsacre Luxury suites development will provide space for up to 66 beds whilst residents can take in the stunning Duntocher countryside setting with private gardens, a number of lounges and a champagne bar or enjoy some down-time thanks to a private cinema.
The care home will also offer round the clock residential, nursing and respite care services with a dedicated team of specialist staff members and facilities.
Arc-Tech was responsible for the installation of thermal insulation, heating and distribution, plumbing services and sprinkler systems, as well as all incoming electrical supplies, internal and external lighting systems, fire alarm systems and ICT passive cabling amongst others.
Morrison Community Care Group Managing Director, Paul Sokhi said: "Our 29 years' experience in the industry has shown us that people want to have fun in their old age and we want to encourage this through design and environment. By encouraging people out of the often-lonely surroundings of their own homes into an environment where there is a vibrant community we hope to give residents and their families an extra lease of life.
"Arc-Tech has continued to be a valued member of the team in the delivery of our care homes, understanding the need for quality. We thank them for their tireless commitment in the delivery of Kingsacre."
Arc-Tech Managing Director, John Gallacher added: "Arc-Tech's ability to provide a one-stop-shop for Mechanical and Electrical Services is invaluable to projects such as Kingsacre. Our team ensured quality standards whilst working proactively and efficiently to meet the demands of the construction programme. This is the second project we have completed for Morrison Community Care and we hope to work again with the company in the future."
Arc-Tech completed a similar turnkey service installation at Abbottsford House Luxury Suites in 2017, sold by Morrison Community Care this spring, and continue their work in the sector with West Dunbartonshire Council and the Clydebank Care Home at Queens Quay which is set to be completed in 2020.
