East Ayrshire Road Closure For Resurfacing Works

East Ayrshire Council has announced that the A70 Cumnock to Ayr Road will be closed this weekend to allow for the resurfacing of the stretch from Coalhall Rail Bridge to the substation near West Tarelgin Farm.

Work will begin at 07:00 on Saturday 13 July and run until 06:00 on Monday 15 July 2019. Signed diversions will be in place throughout.

Vehicular access onto the A70 during the road closure periods will not be possible via the B730 Stair Road.
