Clark Complete Fit Out Of 'Lightyear' Building

Clark Contracts have announced the completion of the £2.5 million fit out of the 'Lightyear' building at Glasgow Airport Business Park.

Working in collaboration with Squarestone Growth, the former Cirrus Building was stripped back to allow the Cat A fit out works to be completed whilst the remainder of the building was operational.

The internal works included full mechanical and electrical upgrades, flooring, decoration and a refresh of all toilet areas. New feature lighting was installed within the two reception areas in addition to the upgrade of the ventilation system, new automatic doors within the main reception and new fire doors throughout the building. Externally, new car park barriers and alterations to external cladding was completed.

A new bespoke reception desk was created and installed by Clark Contracts' in house Manufactured Joinery Division.

Clark Contracts delivered the project in phases over a 7-month period working alongside architect C2 Concepts, Project Managers BTY Consultancy, Structural Engineer David Narro Associates and Services Engineer, Hoare Lea.

Squarestone Growth Founding Partner Paul Coulter, said: "We were delighted to work with Clark Contracts on this comprehensive Grade A office refurbishment adjacent to Glasgow International Airport and are excited to re-launch this fully modernised 80,000 sqft asset to the market."
