Views Sought On Relocation Of Aberdeen's St Peter's School

Aberdeen City Council is seeking opinions on its proposal to relocate St Peter's School.

It proposes to move the school into the existing Riverbank School building after the new replacement Riverbank School opens in August 2022.

A public consultation is being held on the proposal from Monday 04 February until Friday 22 March. Meetings will take place on the following dates:

• Monday 04 March 2019 – St Peter's School from 2-3pm

• Monday 04 March 2019 – Riverbank School from 7-8pm

• Wednesday 13 March 2019 – St Columba's Church, Bridge of Don at 7-8pm.

Councillor John Wheeler, Education Operational Delivery Convener, said: "We believe that our proposal represents a significant move towards securing the long-term future of St Peter's School in an enhanced environment for pupils and staff alike.

"We look forward to meeting with all interested parties and to hearing their views on our proposal."
