Clark Contracts Appointed To Registers Of Scotland

Clark Contracts has been appointed to Registers of Scotland's (RoS) Small to Medium works Framework, which will operate over the next 3 years.

RoS is the government department responsible for keeping public registers of land, property, and other legal documents in Scotland.

The framework will see approximately £10m of projects delivered within RoS's Meadowbank House office in Edinburgh over the next three years. The building, which was originally constructed as hotel accommodation for the Commonwealth Games, was converted to provide 124,000 sq. ft. of office space in 1976 and now accommodates 1,200 staff.

Over the next three years, Clark Contracts will be involved in the delivery of maintenance, fit out and refurbishment projects across the six-storey building with projects ranging up to £500k in value.

Projects are expected to include refurbishment of open-plan office spaces, the main reception area, support services departments and kitchens along with maintenance works throughout the building.

Projects through the framework will be delivered by the Contractors Small Works Division who specialise in refurbishment and fit out projects up to £1m in value.
