Orkney Housing Association Limited has scooped a prestigious award.
The firm received the Rural and Islands Housing Associations Forum (RIHAF) Development of the Year Award for its Sands Park development in Deerness, Orkney.
Delegates at this year's Scottish Rural and Islands Housing Conference selected the development of eight new homes for social rent from a choice of six nominated developments, which also included submissions from Eildon Housing, Osprey Group, and Ayrshire Housing.
The Sands Park development is the first new affordable housing development in Deerness for almost a decade.
The Development of the Year Award was presented by Minister for Local Government, Housing and Planning Kevin Stewart MSP at the Conference.
