Plans Submitted For New 132-Home Development In Glasgow

A planning application has been submitted to build a new 132-home development at Stepford Road in Glasgow East.

The initial phase of homes will include a mix of a mix of two, three and four-bedroom detached, semi-detached and terraced houses.

Development plans also include space for a play-park and seating areas with clear views of Cathkin Brae.

Merchant Homes submitted the plans to Glasgow City Council.

Linda McLuskie, Sales and Marketing Director for Merchant Homes, said: "We are delighted to be moving forward with plans for this new development in Glasgow East.

"Stepford Road is a prime location within the city and we look forward to creating a brand new community. With a variety of housetypes – some of which are a first for Merchant Homes – we are confident the development will be a popular choice with prospective new homebuyers.
