Essential carriageway surfacing works are to be carried out near a primary school in Inverness.
The B851 at Farr Primary School (south of Inverness) is to be repaired during two part-day road closures between 9am to 3pm on 03 – 04 April.
The work is associated with the recently completed path connection to Farr Primary and is required to ensure safety for the public and workforce. Surfacing plant machinery and site constraints require a road closure to ensure safe working practices. Diversions will be in place.
The Highland Council stated: "Advance notification signs advising the public of this closure have been erected today giving one week's notice of the works.
"Emergency vehicle access will be maintained and service buses will be managed through the works by the contractor."
