New Furniture Showroom To Be Built Near Elgin

A new furniture showroom is to be built on the outskirts of Elgin in Moray.

Plans for the Grampian Furnishers facility were approved by Councillors at a public hearing on Wednesday, 04 October.

The two-storey showroom will feature a café which extends to almost 3,000m2, and parking for 110 cars.

Despite receiving three objections, the planning committee upheld a recommendation by council officers to grant permission for the demolition of Waulkmill House and outbuildings.
