Work is to start on a road resurfacing project in Cumnock, East Ayrshire.
As part of it's ongoing road network improvement programme, the Ayrshire Roads Alliance will begin carrying out road maintenance works on Glaisnock Street, from the junction at Hall Terrace to the junction at Wylie Crescent, on Monday, 31 July.
The 10-day scheme will involve removing sections of the existing road surface, laying a base course, resetting ironware, laying a new surface course and renewing the associated road markings.
To carry out the works safely, the section of Glaisnock Street will be closed Monday to Friday from 8am until 6pm. Diversions will be in place.
The Ayrshire Roads Alliance said on behalf of the council, it apologises in advance for any inconvenience caused by the works.
