Local residents are being invited to meet the team appointed to design the A96 Dualling scheme.
The Mott MacDonald Sweco joint venture (MMS JV) was awarded the £50 million design contract by Transport Scotland earlier this year.
The JV is currently underway with work to develop route options for the 28 mile section between Hardmuir and Fochabers.
As part of the project, three 'Meet the team' events are being held next month to inform local residents and road users on the work being carried out on this stretch of the route.
The exhibitions will be held from 12am - 7pm at:
• Bellie Church Hall, The Square, Fochabers on Tuesday, 04 October.
• Ramnee Hotel, Victoria Road, Forres on Wednesday, 05 October.
• The Gallery, Elgin Library, Cooper Park, Elgin on Thursday, 06 October.
Cabinet Secretary for Economy, Jobs and Fair Work, Keith Brown said: "These “Meet the team” events are an opportunity for locals and road users to hear first-hand from the people designing the route.
"As we progress the route options assessment stage of development further public consultations will be undertaken as part of our rolling programme of engagement to ensure that communities, businesses and individuals affected by the work are kept fully informed and their vital feedback taken into account."
