Campion Homes is underway with a new £3.6 million housing scheme in Fife.
The contractor has begun building 27 'affordable' homes for Kingdom Housing Association in Kincardine.
The scheme forms the latest phase of a redevelopment project on the site of former high-rise flats at Devilla. A total of 84 homes have already been built by Kingdom at the site and plans are in place to build a final 22 homes once this current phase is completed.
The development, which has been designed by Oliver & Robb Architects, Scott Bennett Associates and Langmuir & Hay, is scheduled for completion in August 2017.
Bill Banks, Kingdom's chief executive, said: "This new phase includes the provision of new homes for sale, in a superb, central location and is being partially funded from the Scottish Government's Partnership Support for Regeneration fund."
