Contractors Invited To East Lothian Suppliers Event

Local contractors are being invited to attend a construction suppliers event in East Lothian.

The 'Meet the Buyer' exhibition will allow contractors to discover opportunities on the new £70 million East Lothian Community Hospital project in Haddington.

Morrison Construction has been selected by Hub South East Scotland (on behalf of NHS Lothian) to build the facility.

The 22,000m3 Community Hospital will be developed on the existing Roodlands Campus. It will provide a range of primary care and out-patient services, step-down care, mental health services and care for the elderly accommodation.

In addition, Galliford Try's Facilities Management (FM) business has been appointed to provide ongoing hard facilities maintenance of the project for a concession period of 25 years.

Construction on the project is set to begin later this year,

The event is being hosted by Constructionline between 9am – 5pm at Haddington Town Hall on Friday, 12 August.
