South Ayrshire Council has completed a £150,000 public toilet refurbishment project.

The redevelopment scheme on Arthur Street forms part of the council's investment to redevelop Ayr Town Centre.

Features include improved access, brickwork repairs, rewiring, new floor coverings, new cubicles, sinks, baby changing facilities, and general decoration.

The project follows a similar scheme to regenerate a seafront public convenience at Blackburn Drive.
