Persimmon Homes has entered the final stages of its £7 million housing development in Fife.
A total of 58 new homes are being built at Blairadam Fields in Kelty.
The project is supported by £580,000 of Scottish Government funding and is part of the council's commitment to build 2,700 'affordable' homes by 2017.
While 34 houses have already been developed and occupied, eight more are due to be completed in July.
Cllr Judy Hamilton said: "There is a high demand for more affordable housing in this area and I'm pleased to see the good progress that is being made on site. This is a lovely development and there's been some really great feedback from the tenants that have already settled in here about the positive impact their new home has had on their family."
The project is due to be completed before the end of this year.
