Work on a £3.7 million Intensive Psychiatric Care Unit (IPCU) at Stratheden Hospital in Fife is now complete.
The project was delivered by Graham Construction for the NHS as part of the FS2 framework.
Features include eight en-suite single bedrooms, space for therapeutic and rehabilitative activities, communal lounge and dining accommodation, visiting and staff areas, consulting and meeting rooms as well as secure external grounds.
Other security facilities were installed as well as bio-dynamic lighting, nurse call systems, access control and CCTV.
