Morgan Sindall has been selected to build an £8 million primary school in East Dunbartonshire.
The new St. Flannan's Primary School campus will be built at the current school site on Newdyke Road in Kirkintilloch.
The project involves consolidating both St Flannan's and St Agatha's primary schools into one modern educational model.
The single-storey 2,259sq m facility will include 12 open classrooms, each with an attached breakout area.
The building is the fourth school to the built under the council and development partner hub West Scotland's Primary School Improvement Programme.
Council Leader Rhondda Geekie said: "Through our Primary School Improvement Programme, the Council is modernising the primary estate, delivering fit for purpose, state-of-the-art primary schools with an enhanced learning environment which supports Curriculum for Excellence."
Edward Carr, area director of Morgan Sindall in Scotland, added: "We're delighted to be continuing our partnership with East Dunbartonshire Council and hub West Scotland in constructing modern and sustainable learning environments that will benefit local communities for years to come."
