An iconic Glasgow-landmark is being temporarily removed to allow for a £250 million regeneration project to go ahead in the city.
Work to remove the standing stones of Sighthill park, known as the Sighthill Megalith, began on 07 April.
The Stone Circle will be relocated within the new park as land remediation work gets underway on the project.
The five-year regeneration programme will deliver almost 800 new homes along with a new community school campus, a new footbridge across the M8 and a 'street in the sky' connecting Sightill with Glasgow city centre.
Other features include a new road bridge across the railway to link Sighthill and Port Dundas, improved parkland, allotments and public spaces.
The scheme is scheduled to finish in 2019.
