A design team has been selected to lead the refurbishment of a historic baths project in Glasgow.
Hall Black Douglas Architects has been appointed alongside Arup to renovate the Govanhill Edwardian bathhouse in the city.
Work is due to begin early next year.
The project involves redeveloping the facility into a community wellbeing centre.
Features of the project include repairing the whole building as well as reinstating two of three swimming pools, saunas, Turkish baths and a fitness suite.
Arup will work alongside Hall Black Douglas and the Govanhill Baths Community Trust to provide structural, mechanical, electrical, and public health (SMEP) engineering services on the project.
In addition, Alastair Coey Architects will act as conservation specialists, drawing up a management plan and coordinating specification of the restoration works.
Recent funding has allowed the Trust to proceed with the project after a 15-year fight against the council's decision to close the building in 2001.
Alan Walsh, Chair of Govanhill Baths Community Trust, said the project will have a positive healthy impact on the area.
"After 15 years of campaigning, Govanhill Baths Community Trust is delighted that the local community will be swimming again in the historic Govanhill Baths," he said.
"The refurbishment of the 100 year old Edwardian building into a wellbeing centre will help address the many health statistics in the area, which are some of the worst in the country."
