The first tenants have began moving in to a new £2.9 million housing development in Clackmannanshire.

The 27-home project was delivered by Campion Homes on Delph Road in Tullibody.

The scheme was developed by Kingdom Housing Association and designed by Bracewell Stirling Architects.

It is the second project to be completed by the HA through its partnership with Clackmannanshire Council.

In addition, the Scottish Government provided a subsidy grant of around £1.7m to support the project.

The mix of one, two and three-bedroom properties have achieved various accreditation standards including Housing for Varying Needs; Secured by Design; and Building Controls Silver Standard of Sustainability.

Bill Banks, chief executive at Kingdom, said: "Collaborative partnership between RSL's and local authorities are encouraged by the Scottish Government and Kingdom has very positive working relationships with all the councils we work with given it provides mutual benefits and optimises the amount of affordable housing that can be delivered in the area."

Council Leader Les Sharp added: "This development is just one of the housing projects the council is working to deliver for local people throughout Clackmannanshire and adds to our continuous commitment to provide social housing for the residents of the Wee County."
