Recent repair works at a tourist attraction in Helensburgh have been funded by charity lottery players, National Trust Scotland has announced.

The project at Hill House was made possible due to players of People's Postcode Lottery, who generated £10,000.

Two leaded windows at the house were repaired, while other works included installing a new wheelchair ramp and improving visitor information onsite.

Property Manager Lorna Hepburn said: "We are very grateful to players of People's Postcode Lottery for funding this important work which helps preserve one of Scotland's most important buildings.

"Working with Period Glazing, a locally based partnership with long experience of working with all kinds of decorative windows, repairs were made to the damaged panes.

"The first was the lower part of one of the staircase windows and the second a very small leaded window in the main bedroom."
