Midlothian Council is to hold a 'Meet the Buyer' event allowing local companies to find out more information about a new school development in the region.
The exhibition will host information about individual job opportunities, what training is offered to young people, and how sub contractors can get involved in the project.
The new £8.9m school is being built by Morrison Construction at Gorebridge North.
Designed by AHR Architects, the development will cater for up to 558 pupils, with two classes in each primary year.
It will be completed by autumn 2016.
At the event, representatives from both Morrison Construction and Midlothian Council will be on hand to:
• talk about the work package contents for the new school
• explain the procurement policy and how it can help gain business
• provide tips and information on how to work for Work Package contractors
• take details of individuals for inclusion on a data base for passing on to relevant subcontractors if they are looking for candidates in the future
• provide advice to young people regarding any training opportunities that may be available.
