Engineers are to carry out 'essential' inspections on the A898 Erskine Bridge this weekend, Scotland TranServ has announced.
The work, on behalf of Transport Scotland, will carry out detailed inspections to the two above deck towers which provide cable support to the Bridge.
A CCTV camera located at the top of the south tower is to also be replaced with a newer system.
To carry out the works, a series of offside lane closures are to take place from 7am until 6pm from 31 October until 1 November.
Contract director Gordon Wilson said: "A series of detailed inspections must be carried out to the towers which support Erskine Bridge to ensure that it is maintained to industry standards."
