Essential demolition works for the Forth Road Bridge project are due to take place this weekend, it has been announced.
Further work to demolish the old B800 bridge over the A90 south of Echline Junction is to take place between the 31 October and 1 November.
The A90 and M90 (M9 Spur) are to be closed in both directions from 8pm on 31 October, with a reopening time scheduled for 6am on 1 November.
Previously, the route was closed for works between 24/25 October.
Steven Brown, Transport Scotland, Roads and Infrastructure Manager said: "The Forth Bridges Operating Company (Amey) are again taking the opportunity to undertake some regular and necessary maintenance work on the FRB. A single lane contraflow will again be in place on the bridge for the duration of the A90 closure."
Diversions will be in place.
