West Lothian Council has announced it will relocate a local library and museum in a bid to move community services under one roof.
The Broxburn Library and Community Museum are due to move into the Strathbrock Partnership Centre.
The council is investing £250,000 into the project to deliver a modern facility for the local community.
Currently, the centre is home to a medical practice, pharmacy, café, Customer Information Services (CIS) centre and a range of council services such as Housing and Social Policy.
The new library and Community Museum will be located at the main entrance area at the heart of Strathbrock Partnership Centre with the CIS space being opened up to create a combined library/CIS space.
Councillor Dave King said: "This is an exciting move for Broxburn Library and Community Museum. The service will have a new home which is modern and has the added benefit from the increased foot fall at Strathbrock Partnership Centre."
