Councillors have agreed funding for urgent repairs to a historic abbey in Moray.
A total of £15,700 will allow Kinloss Abbey Trust to carry out masonry works to Kinloss Abbey.
The structure of the tower of the Abbot's House will be improved.
There are concerns that unless work is carried out to stabilise the structure, it could be in danger of collapse.
The trust hopes to acquire the abbey through a community asset transfer and has sufficient funds for a feasibility study, with a view to safeguarding the future of the building.
