East Dunbartonshire Council is to reveal the final proposed design for a new primary school at a drop-in information event later this month.
The new school will be built on the site of St Flannan's Primary School in Kirkintilloch.
The event will be the latest stage in a consultation process which began last year.
Council leader Rhondda Geekie said: "A new school building is an important and exciting development for a community and it is important that it meets the needs of the people who will use it. Feedback gathered at the previous workshops has helped shape the design and the aim of this month’s event is to gather comments from the local community on the proposed final design."
The projects architects Archial Norr, with support from the contractor Morgan Sindall and transport consultant Waterman Group, will be available at the event to answer any questions.
The exhibition will be held on 29 September between 2-8pm in Hillhead Community Centre, Kirkintilloch.
