Scottish Water has announced it is carrying out work to upgrade water mains in East Ayrshire.
The firm is currently working on approximately one mile of water mains in Dalrymple.
The work aims to improve the mains and increase the security of water supply in the area.
The project, being carried out by Caledonia Water Alliance, is anticipated to last seven weeks and began on 31 August.
Seath Drive, from its junction with Burnton Road B742 to its junction with the B7034, will be closed on 14 September for five days to allow work to be carried out.
