East Renfrewshire Council's sheltered housing service has been given a 'top-class' report by inspectors.
The service achieved a rating of 'very good' in all categories assessed.
Inspectors from the Care Inspectorate looked at the quality of care, support, staffing, management and leadership during their visits.
Highlights of the report include:
• The service is very good overall at involving tenants in assessing and improving the service.
• The effectiveness of the service in enabling tenants to make individual choices and ensure they are supported to achieve their potential.
The sheltered housing warden service provides support to older people who live in sheltered housing provided by the council.
The service supports up to 250 people within eight complexes.
