A report published by the Scottish Government has revealed that greenhouse gas emissions fell in 2013.
It is estimated Scottish emissions were 53 million tonnes carbon dioxide equivalent (MtCO2e) two years ago.
The latest figures show that emissions were 3.6% lower in 2013 than the 2012 figure of 54.9 MtCO2e.
The equivalent figure for UK indicated a fall by 2.3% between 2012 and 2013.
Overall between 1990 and 2013, there has been a 34.3% reduction in estimated emissions by Scotland.
The main contributor to this reduction is the fall in energy supply and waste management emissions.
