Scotland Transerv Announces A725 Upgrades

Scotland Transerv has announced it will carry out over £60,000 of upgrade works to a road near Hamilton.

Roadworks will be carried out westbound on the A725 Whistleberry Road to Whistleberry Toll.

The resurfacing works are being carried out on behalf of Transport Scotland.

A total closure of the westbound carriageway will be in operation from 8.00pm on 3 June to 6.00am on 4 June.

Gordon Wilson, Contract Director, Scotland TranServ said: "These essential repairs will help improve the surface of the A725 and all road users will feel the benefits in the very near future.

"We are doing everything we can to minimise disruption by carrying out the works overnight when the maintenance is underway."
