Dundee Council has announced almost £600,000 of improvement works are to be carried out across the region.
The City Development Committee will be asked to approve a raft of work, including roof repairs and replacements at city primary schools.
Tenders include the provision of enabling works to erect modular buildings at Glebelands and St Pius primary schools, early years provision at Sidlaw View Primary School and Woodlea Nursery along with roof repairs and replacement at Ancrum Primary School.
Committee convener Will Dawson said: "As well as work on new and replacement schools in communities across the city it is vital that we make sure other educational buildings get the appropriate level of investment.
"These tenders totalling more than £590,000 will ensure that we maintain a high quality environment for learning and teaching at establishments all over Dundee."
