Residents of Angus are being invited to attend a drop-in event today, 16 March, on a new housing development plan for the former Chapelpark Primary School in Forfar.
The application for the creation of 29 new homes on the site was submitted on 19 February this year. It seeks the conversion of the Grade B listed school buildings into affordable flatted properties for rent, as well as the construction of four new houses in the former playground.
The public is invited to find out more about the development proposals at the information event, taking place at Forfar Library on Monday 16 March from 15:00 to 18:30.
The designs for the new rental properties will be on display and our officers will be available to answer any questions.
Comments can be made on the planning application until 27 March.
