Student Housing Proposed For Glasgow

Plans to develop student housing in Glasgow have been submitted by Forrest Furnishing.

It is understood the proposals are for a 19-floor development which would be located on the corner of Cathedral Street and North Hannover Street.

It would consist of 376 student bedrooms.

The project has been designed by Urban Office | Architects and would involve demolishing an existing furniture showroom and warehouse. Public realm works would also be included, while a dedicated drop-off area would be created on site rather than parking provision. In addition, 190 cycle spaces would be made available.
