Work is to begin on the A92 Basin View from next week, it has been confirmed.
The project is anticipated to commence on Monday 24 November and continue for four weeks.
The work is being carried out by Tayside Contracts and Siemens Mobility, on behalf of Angus Council.
In a statement, the local authority said the work will include tracking across the carriageway in order to install new ducts and cables, while the existing traffic signals will be refurbished, as will the associated localised footway works at each of the crossings at Basin View. The three crossings are located at the rear of the Co-operative Supermarket, near the Railway Station; north of the A935 Medicine Well Drive Roundabout; and south of the North Esk Road Roundabout.
While the project is underway, road traffic measures will be in place. Some road closures will be necessary, while diversions will be in place for motorists.
