New Sports Hall For College Campus

Construction work has commenced at West Lothian College's campus in Livingston.

A new two-story sport and fitness hall is being built on the site. The facility will be located beside the current sports hall and, when completed, will allow the existing fitness suite to move and create a new teaching and storage facility for its users.

The centre is part of a £2m investment programme being supported by the Scottish Funding Council.

Mhairi Harrington, Principal of West Lothian College, said: "The investment work across the campus is progressing well and we are all delighted that the work on the new sport and fitness extension has started.

"When it is completed the new facilities will add to West Lothian College's legacy of a high quality estate which will benefit current and future learners."

David Cooper, Construction Director at Clark Contracts added: "We are delighted to have been given the opportunity to work with West Lothian College again, this time to build the new sport and fitness centre at West Lothian College's Livingston Campus."
