A number of students enrolled at Lews Castle College and Glasgow Caledonian University have secured work placements for the summer months.
Graham Construction has confirmed the students will be working at the Lews Castle site.
Christopher Morrison, who is currently studying construction management at Glasgow Caledonian University, has won a placement with Graham Construction for the summer, while a number of other students from construction courses at Lews Castle College are also engaging in weekly placements at the historic Stornoway site.
Gary Holmes, Regional Director at Graham Construction, said: "We are committed to involving local labour and developing industry talent in all our projects.
"As a site of historical and cultural interest, we recognise the importance of the restoration of Lews Castle to Stornoway's heritage and the subsequent interest of the local workforce in being involved."
