Resurfacing Works For Carriageway

Aberdeen Council has said Virginia Street and Trinity Quay are to close to southbound traffic in order to allow resurfacing work to be carried out.

The roads will be closed between Commerce Street and Market Street overnight on Thursday and Friday (5 and 6 June), from 8pm and 7pm, respectively. The roads will re-open at 6am on each of the following mornings before closing for a final time at 7pm on Saturday 7 June until noon on Sunday (8 June).


The local authority has said the one-way restrictions on Regent Quay, between Marischal Street and Trinity Quay, as well as on Shore Lane, will be suspended during the closures, with an alternative route for southbound vehicles available via Commerce Street, East North Street, King Street, Castle Street, Union Street and Market Street.
