£4.25m Health Centre Unveiled

NHS Fife has unveiled the £4.25m Glenwood Health Centre on Napier Road, Glenrothes, following the projects handover by BAM Construction and the Skene Group.

Providing space for nine GPs, it is the first project to be completed under the East Central Hub framework.

Commenting on the completion, Regional Director for BAM Construction, Doug Keillor said: "It is a credit to our project manager and his team that he not only achieved completion on time and on budget, but also defect free."

The two-storey structure, designed by Halliday Fraser Munro, has attained a BREEAM Excellent rating.

BREEAM winners represent leading examples of construction projects, each demonstrating an holistic approach to the environmental aspects of their specification, design and construction.
