Dumfries and Galloway-based firm Eco Insulate Ltd has started the new year as a BASF Foam Master approved contractor.
The move follows extensive discussions between the two companies to develop business in Scotland and the rest of the UK. The trading relationship will provide the building industry with a complete range of BASF WALLTITE Open and Closed cell foam products installed by a fully approved and competent contractor.
Discussing the move, Bryan Woods, MD of eco Insulate Ltd, said: "Our decision to change suppliers was not taken lightly but reflects our policy of offering clients a complete range of high performance environmentally friendly products.
"When originally looking at the BASF WALLTITE range we found that they had excellent accreditation and products were manufactured either here in the UK or Europe. This helps to reduce their carbon footprint as previously products had been supplied from Canada and China."
Colin Davidson, eco Insulate Ltd's Surveying and Estimating manager added: "The training and technical support provided by BASF WALLTITE is first class and we are able to offer Specifiers a 24 hour turn round for complex calculations which may be needed.
"The comprehensive product range also allows us to offer improved thermal performance for many different applications including Hard to Treat cavity wall construction and Industrial buildings. It's also re-assuring to know we are dealing with a major supplier who provides prompt on time delivery from within the UK."
