A new £2.5m out-of-town restaurant for Mitchells & Butlers (MAB) has been completed by fast-construction experts Pacific Building.
According to allmediascotland.com, the completion of Toby Carvery – which is located just off the M8 motorway, on the outskirts of Glasgow – marks the start of a lucrative relationship between Pacific and MAB.
Pacific, who employ 32 people, won a multi-million pound deal for the construction works, making them the first Scottish building firm to be retained by MAB.
The firm will now construct or fit out a further five outlets this year for the English-based firm, who operate 1,600 pubs and restaurants across the UK.
It is understood Pacific will undertake other projects for other brands in the MAB stable in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Perth and Fife.
Work on the recently-completed Toby Carvery began in October 2012. Coming in on time and budget, the restaurant is due to open on schedule on 2 April.
