Property consultancy CBRE has purchased of Unit 2, Halbeath Interchange Business Park in Dunfermline on behalf of Scottish Bakers.
The self contained 2,682 sq ft modern office unit, spread over two floors and forming part of a wider development incorporating five stand alone buildings, was the preferred option for Scottish Bakers and will serve as the company’s new headquarters as it continues to grow its business.
Halbeath Interchange Business Park is ideally located for Scottish Bakers to expand its business in central Scotland, with the Forth Road Bridge just six miles away and direct access to the M90 and A92. The surrounding area is largely commercial with neighbouring occupiers including Scottish SPCA, Capability Scotland, Scott Group, Travelodge and ASDA.
Alan Clarke, chief executive of Scottish Bakers, commented: "We are very much looking forward to moving our operation to Halbeath Business Park and taking advantage of its locale. Business expansion is key for us over the coming months and I’m confident our new premises will be of great benefit in that regard as we move forward."
Camille Casey from CBRE, who acted for Scottish Bakers, commented: "Dunfermline is a thriving area for commercial businesses looking to have fast and easy access to the central belt of Scotland and Halbeath Interchange Business Park will provide a great modern office setting for Scottish Bakers as the business continues to grow."
CBRE acted on behalf of Scottish Bakers while the sole selling agent was Ryden.
