A window company in Fife has become an early adopter of new Google technology that allows customers to look inside the store from home.

The Google 360 tour on The Window Store's website www.window-store.co.uk takes customers in and around the company’s showroom, to look at displays.

The virtual tour gives layer upon layer of extra meaning to the term 'window shopping'.

To use it, go to Google maps and drag the street view icon on to The Window Store at Muirhead Mitchelston Industrial Estate, Fife KY1 3PE.

Google 360 gives a panoramic view of the inside of selected businesses.

The photography service was launched last year in the USA, Japan, Australia and New Zealand but is just now becoming available in the UK.
