Essential Maintenance Work To Be Carried Out On The Stewarton Road

The B769 Stewarton Road (Dodside Road) in Newton Mearns is to be closed for five days from Monday 24 September until Friday 28 September 2012.

This will affect part of the road from a point about 750m northeast of the Bannerbank quarry access road to a point about 150m southwest of the access road.

The closure is to ensure the safe operation of essential carriageway works required in advanced of planned transportation of Scottish Power equipment on oversized vehicles.

All transportation except emergency vehicles and those associated with the works are prohibited but pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
